I built our first home in 1990 for myself. I immediately realized how much I loved doing this. When starting my home, I chose my contractors carefully; not only looking at price but concentrating more on their quality, personality, and reputations.
Looking back I know that my choice of contractors was the reason that I loved building and why I had such a successful outcome. I received my first request to build a custom home from a client that loved the first home we had built. With that project being such a success, we built that same house three more times and started our company in 1994 as a full time career.
Now, more than 20 years later and onto my eighth house for my family (and still married!), I can still say that I love doing this and feel blessed to have it as my career.
